RICK SPRINGFIELD

Okay Jeni, here's your new post, but you probably don't even know who Rick Springfield is......There will be a few of you out there who will know what I'm talking about. I fell in love with Rick when I first saw him on I think it was American Bandstand (something else that shows my age) singing Jesse's Girl, and he was Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital. I saw him in concert and loved him ever since. I saw him again on Today show singing and he is still HOT HOT HOT!!

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY

a room decorated with family photos
family teamwork
family game night
a bucketful of private family jokes
a dishonest doctor's scale
food, family, and friends
making someone laugh so hard that food comes out of their nose
epidemic laughter
children's laughter

I have been trying to figure out things that make me happy. I googled "things that make me happy" and found this link http://www.thingstobehappyabout.com/six-degrees.php?db=six_degrees&terms=family. I typed in a few things and a list came up with some ideas of things that make people happy, some of them were pretty funny and I couldn't imagine them ever making me happy just goes to show different strokes for different folks. My boys, family & friends make me happiest of all. I just love love love them and hope they all know it.

1st Place PG City Tournament

Bronson's baseball team the Cardinals took first place in the city tournament which put us in the State Tournament. We were eliminated in a heartbreaking game last night. Our Boys played hard and Bronson made some fantastic hits and plays through out the entire season. I'm sad baseball is over and next year my boys will be in the same division (first time ever)I'm hoping for the same team as well to make it easier on me.

4th of July Pictures

Fathers Day (a little late)

Yeah I found my camera, here are pictures from fathers day. Let me just start out by telling my Dad how much I love him. I know that I have caused him my share of grief over the years, but no matter what he is always there for me and my boys. I'm so glad that he decided to marry my mom and take on the responsibility of a Bratty 8 year old. Thanks Dad for all you do and I am so proud of you and the examples you are setting for our family. Happy Late Fathers Day!!! Love you xoxo

4TH OF JULY

This year we had a blast on the 4Th. I had the day off and the boys let me sleep in, (well I guess they didnt have much of a choice since they dont dare wake me) Went to Mom and Dads for BBQ. It was fun had almost all my favorite people there Brooklyn was spending the Holiday with her Mom and we really missed her party planning. We had hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, potato salad, brownies fruit and fruit dip I'm getting hungry just remembering all the food. Poor Mom is still on the liquid diet for her esophagus rip and ulcer, so she had her strained cream of chicken soup and chocolate pudding. She goes back to Dr on July 16TH keep your fingers crossed and say your prayers that it will be healed and she can start eating food again. She cant afford to lose anymore weight. Anyways back to the Party for those of you who know my Dad know that while he loves having his family over and loves loves the grandkids he can also act like it would be nicer to visit with us from the windows of our cars so We could not believe our eyes when lo and behold there was Dad in the middle of a water fight I have heard rumor that he was actually the one who started the whole thing but He will neither confirm or deny this rumor. Any way it was all fun and games and it was great having Aunt Carol, Uncle Dennis and their family Paul Allyson and Dalton, Robert Jackie Dennis and CarrieAnn.Hopefully I will find my camera so I can post all the fun pictures.

PG CARDINALS 1ST PLACE & LOST CAMERA

I havent posted in a while because I wanted to put pictures up of Bronson and his baseball team The Cardinals winning 1st place in the city tournament and also pictures of the fun we had on the 4th of July, but as you have probably guessed by the title of this blog I have lost well really missplaced my camera......so I will just have to give you a run down of the last week. Bronsons baseball team went into the city tournament at 3rd place with the Pirates going in as 1st. City tournament is double elimination and the Pirates lost their 1st game to us Tuesday July 1st with Cardinals not losing any yet so far in the city tournament. We had a to play the Pirates again for 1st place on Thursday July 3, which we won 8-2. I have some awesome pictures of the game, the team and thier 1st place trophy. Next stop State Tournament....hopefully I will have found my camera.

OWLZ

On Sunday its Dollar Days at the OwlZ game. I decided that this would be a fun family outing and so this past Sunday afternoon, Me, Robert, Bronson, Matt (little bro) Carter and Roberts friend Zach went watch the Owlz play the Casper Ghosts(pretty original thinking on that name) It was more fun than I thought it would be. The boys of course wanted to sit on the lawn so they could catch the all the Home Runs that were going to be hit out to us. One did get hit out to us and I thought Bronson was going to tackle all the little kids trying to get the ball, (he didnt get it) But we had tons of fun anyways and are going to make this a regular family thing.
