5 Girls + 2 Movies + 1 night= One Tired Me!

I woke up this morning to a message from my friend Natalie reminding me that the new Richard Gere move Nights in Rodanthe opened tonight. We decided that we would do 2 movies back to back, well really I think this was Megans idea. Megan is Natalies daughter, so Natalie Megan, her friend Kylie and myself went to see 2 movies in 1 night. First on the list was The Women, it was an okay movie but not one I would have been sorry if I had missed it. The next part of our double feature was Nights in Rodanthe. Another friend Debbie met up with us for this one, this movie was alot better than the first but I would much rather look at Richard Gere than Meg Ryan. He just gets better looking the older he gets. The funniest part of the movie was watching the young kid with his date in front of us and the smooth move he made to put his arm around his date. Oh to be young again. Even though its late and I have to work in the morning I had so much fun just getting out with these great friends. Cant wait for the next outing. Thanks again Natalie and Megan for being such good friends. Love you guys!!!

ER The Final Season

Okay I can already see my sis-in-laws expression when she sees this post. Sorry Jeni, you know what a T.V. head I am. I just had to pay tribute to one of my favorite shows ER. Tonight was the season premier of the 15th and final season, and it was a tearjerker. I love this show and have loved watching it from day one. I don't think I have ever missed an episode. Oh well it had to end sometime. Oh and while I'm on my soapbox about things,,,,,,Twilight Books!!!!! I am only half way through the second one and I am so mad. Okay so Vampires are a little far fetched but I could handle that but Werewolves come on now we all know that could never happen, and before any one comments on its just a story I guess I like my books to be somewhat believable. Okay I'm done now and you all know that I will finish the series and love it just as much as the rest of you.

On Saturday my parents were sealed for eternity. Elder Yoshihiko Kikuchi of the First Quorum of the Seventy performed the sealing which was just one of the awesome things to happen to my parents. I think it was a bittersweet moment for my parents on one hand they are so happy to have had this happen but it was also sad that only one of their children was able to witness this wonderful occasion. But Elder Kikuchi also promised them that all their children will be sealed to them, so don't worry Mom, we will all get there sooner or later you know the Lord always keeps his promises. There were so many friends and family on hand to help my parents celebrate. My cousin Hayden flew in from Texas. It was great seeing her haven't seen her in very long time about 15 years to be exact. I just want to tell my Mom and Dad how much I love them and to thank them for the wonderful example they set and continue to set for us.

Okay I havent blogged in a while and the Sunday before Labor Day, the boys and I went out to see Matt Jeni and the kids. I mostly go to see the Carter and Shayla but its nice visiting with Matt and Jeni too. Matt was making his famous Dutch Oven Honey Chicken, and of course we time it just right!! After dinner we played Cranium the boys and I were on one team while Matt and Jeni were a team.....Needless to say Matt & Jeni won but I had my camera handy to take pictures, before and after dinner. One of my favorite things to do is take pictures of Carter, Shayla and Brooklyn......So if your not family then you will probably get tired of all the pics I'm posting of them. Oh well its my blog! So get a drink sit back and enjoy them as much as I do!!!!
