WHERE IS SPRING!

I know I'm not alone in this,I AM SICK AND TIRED OF SNOW AND COLD!!! I WANT SPRING. I could now believe it when I walked out my door this morning to snow. I hate snow, cold and everything that goes along with it. Lets hope the old saying holds true with March in like a lamb out like a lion, and April will bring us warmer temps. Anyways at least there is no work today and I can come home from Church and curl up with my blanket and book!!

FRIDAY YAHOO!!!!!

I cant tell you how glad I am it is friday, even though I have to work tomorrow I still get to sleep in and I only work 4 hours. I have promised myself that I will not go anywhere tomorrow after I get off work I am cleaning and getting my lesson prepared for sunday.(I will let you know how good I am at keeping promises to myself)
I figured that if I get all my work done on Saturday then Sunday will truly be a day of rest, and lucky me I dont even have to cook dinner since We have this wonderful friend Natalie (who takes pity on me or maybe its the boys) but they have us over for dinner one sunday a month with an open invitation on all the other days as well. Let me tell you a little bit about this family. You will never meet a nicer more genuine loving sincere family. From the first step you take in their house you feel like you are home, I sometimes have the urge to just pack my things move in and never leave. Their house is the kind that is always filled with friends, family and you are always welcomed even if you have just meet them, they will make you fill like you have been friends for ever. So that is just my little Tribute to the Harris Family, Just wanted to let them know how much we appreciate the friendship and love they have given us throught out the years.

HAPPY EASTER

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!! This year was a little bit sad for me, we didnt color eggs, no easter baskets. I decided that that next year I am doing the coloring and baskets.....I dont care how old my boys are getting, a mom still needs that. I have a bad case of spring fever, and I have this sudden urge to deep clean my house, its just too bad I get the urge while I'm at work and its gone by the time I get home, and funny how it never hits me on the weekends either, mmmm go figure. Robert is now a door to door salesman, selling lawn aeration and fertilizer,has made 1 sale, and of course has illusions of granduer of what his paychecks will buy! (oh to be young and naive again) So if anyone needs a good deal on aeration,fertilizer or both, let me know and I'll hook you up!

THIS ONES FOR YOU NATALIE!!!!

I know that I have been terrible in paying attention to my blog and updating my posts and after many months of blog stalking I have finally decided to return. In all reality I just couldn't face Natalie at another dinner,knowing that I have continued to let her down! Lets see what has changed in my life....I am now a primary teacher, yes I know that might be hard for some of you to imagine but yes I am in the Valiant 9 class and it has been quite the experience so far. I am enjoying it but also wondering what I was doing when I was in primary since I don't remember any of these stories that I am supposed to be teaching the kids. Robert and Bronson are doing good, staying out of trouble (well at least none that I know about) Baseball is about to start and I love love love love love BASEBALL. It would break my heart if my boys didn't want to play. I am still playing Bunko and as always I love getting together with these ladies. I am still working at Family First and still love my job I work with the best group of people, and of course I am the oldest. My best friend Janine just celebrated her birthday and we have officially started our 50Th birthday cruise savings, we originally wanted to go to when we graduated from high school after our singing careers had taken off and we had purchased our Trans Am's, but life happened and we have now decided to go when we turn 50. I chopped my hair off and will try to post pictures of everything next time. So until next time hope you are all having a great time, and making the most out of every day!!!!

Slacker

Can't think of a good title for this blog other than slacker. I have had a few changes in my life since the last time I updated this. I started a new job at Family First Federal Credit Union, We moved back to the place where we lived 6 years ago. I miss the folks at my old job but love my new job and the people there. Its fun to be back working with the public, I'm always suprised at how many people come in that I went to school with or have worked with or have been in my ward, its a small small world. Well thats about all the news I have since I still don't have a life except for Bunko once a month, and thank goodness it's this Friday.

Teen Drivers UGH!!!!!

Robert turned 15 last December and could get his learners permit. I of course did not want this to happen so I told him that if he didn't get good grades last term of school, no learners, and him thinking that once again Mom will give in didn't live up to his end of the bargain. Let me tell you now it has been a long summer, with tears, threats, promises anything to get that permit. I will admit that I normally do give in, (that's whats wrong with my kids) but not this time, so here is Mom thinking she is pretty smart, no learners no driving lower insurance no worries, well one less thing to worry about. Getting excited that school is starting, still feeling good for not giving in.....Well since Robert is taking drivers ed first term they have this stupid rule that kids must have their learners permit to take the class, I of course required this in writing (which Robert happily supplied). So needless to say I took the day off Friday to take him to get his permit. He of course doesn't let me take his picture, but I at least go a profile shot of him waiting at the DMV. So world watch out Robert is behind the wheel!

Its been awhile since I have updated, been busy with getting kids back to school. But on this night we or maybe I should say I decided that its time for us to start having a family night. My boys are growing up too fast and will soon leave their Mom behind. I decided that we would go miniture golfing. It was alot of fun, hot but fun!!!!
